Partnering to Build an Inclusive and Sustainable Haiti

WELCOME TO ODENOH

ODENOH

Development Organization for a New Haiti (ODENOH) is a local organization committed to advancing the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) in Haiti, with a primary focus on eradicating poverty and hunger alleviation, improving healthcare access, advocating for environmental protection, and promoting gender equality. We achieve these goals through strategic partnerships and community-driven initiatives that expand economic opportunities. Our gender-inclusive approach ensures that the most vulnerable, including children and individuals with disabilities, are not left behind.

No Poverty, Zero Hunger

We provide training in ecological farming techniques, like agroforestry, to restore degraded land and improve soil quality. By providing essential resources such as seeds and materials, we help boost crop yields and income for smallholder farmers. Our aim is to enhance food security and combat hunger sustainably.

Good Health and Well-Being, Clean Water and Sanitation

Collaborating with our partners, we address water, sanitation, and hygiene (WASH) issues. Our efforts focus on expanding access to safe drinking water and conducting health screenings in cooperation with community medical institutions.

Gender Equality

In partnership with local and international organizations, women entrepreneurs gain valuable business training and affordable access to financial resources for launching or expanding their enterprises. Our collaborations extend to several village savings and loans associations (VSLAs).

Empowering local communities and encouraging grassroots participation for effective and equitable development
